My Vote is for Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber

Okay, so I admit, I watch American Idol, deal with it. I did music and theater all through college and even now I still sing and do karaoke when I get the chance. Hey, I'm a nerd of so many flavors.

Anyhow, American Idol this week was the music of Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber. FREAKIN AWESOME. Lloyd-Webber has really done a lot for theater and musicals and the arts. His music is amazing. Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, and more. To be fair, often Lyrics were written or co-written with other greats such as Tim Rice, Don Black, and Charles Hart. STILL, Lloyd-Webber is a musical mastermind and just watching him work with Idol contestants was astounding. I would have FREAKED OUT if I'd been there.

On a side note, the Royals have completely fallen apart. It only took 3 weeks, but the fun is over. We once more suck. The Chiefs are getting ready to draft this weekend but the 'best' tackle is already off the board thanks to the Dolphins signing Long BEFORE the draft. Its gonna be a long season for football too. Which means, I may not see one of my favorite teams win a game again till College Hoops in November. >.< Oh well. Could be worse.

Wait... no, KC teams are pretty much the bottom of the barrel now. Guess it can't be worse. Oh well.
